Magpie is a resilient little sweetheart who came into rescue with her littermates at just 5 days old after her mama was tragically hit by a car—but even then, she showed us she was a fighter. Since that day, Magpie has thrived in her foster home, soaking up snuggles, socialization, and plenty of playtime with the resident dogs.

This adorable girl is a pit bull terrier mix (with maybe a little hound —check out those floppy ears!) and she’s growing into a confident, playful girl. She’d love to have a doggy sibling to romp around with, but most of all, she wants a family committed to raising her with love, respect, and training.

Because she’s part pit, we’re looking for an adopter who understands the stigma society associated with this breed and is excited to be an advocate for just how loyal, gentle, and let’s face it - sometimes comically dramatic- pit bulls can be.

Like all puppies, Magpie will need continued support with potty training, basic manners, and lots of patience (and treats!). In return, she’ll give you endless love, tail wags, and snuggles.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
