Puffin came to our rescue with her litter mates at only 5 days old, when her mom was sadly hit by a car and passed.  We were overjoyed to bring her into our foster home, bottle feed her and watch her grow. She has powered through life so far and has shown great affection towards adults, kids and other dogs. She will chase toys and wrestle with her brother but will always come and check in for a snuggle. The world is very new and big to her right now so she likes when you are close. She is curious about her surroundings and willing to try new obstacles like stairs, jumping, running through her tunnel and greeting big dogs in her foster home! She loves playing with her toys and being outside to explore. She takes to routine well but really looks to her humans to let her know she is safe. She is still very young though, so her personality is just starting to form. Her favorite thing is to lay on her back while you pet her belly! 

Because she’s part pit, we’re looking for an adopter who understands the stigma society associated with this breed and is excited to be an advocate for just how loyal, gentle, and let’s face it - sometimes comically dramatic- pit bulls can be.

She is looking for a home who is ready and committed to taking on puppy life: potty training; teething and chewing will all be part of who she is for a little while. She is doing great with her potty pads and understands not to make a mess where she sleeps and plays! Since she’s so young, she’ll need someone who is home most of the day to take her potty. But she promises to balance those things by giving you lots of sweet kisses and puppy love.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
