This handsome guy is Aragorn, a one year old Border Collie mix.   Aragorn loves to be around people and would make an excellent family dog, he would do anything to make his family happy.  He is also a good guard dog and if he sees something alarming, he will bark to let you know. Due to his age and size, he is better suited for a home without small dogs or small children. He is still just a puppy and not aware of his size so he may be a bit too much for the little ones.

Aragorn is great with other dogs.  He has a tendency to chase cats but hasn't shown any aggression toward them.  He is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash.  Overall, Aragorn is an absolute love bug and has a zest for life that is guaranteed to make you smile and laugh.

If you are interested in meeting Aragorn, just complete the Adoption Inquiry on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you.

Aragorn’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
