Hi, my name is Veruca Jr., but my friends call me V V. My friends say that I can hear things light years away because my ears are so big and pointy! I am such a lover. My foster dad plays catch and tug with me, those are my favorite games. Sometimes his nieces and nephew come over and I love playing with them, I especially like it when I get my belly rubbed. I enjoy long runs and squeaky toys. My foster brother and I could play all day and my next door neighbor’s dogs and I have play dates all the time, they are my best friends.

The people that know me tell me I'm a sweet girl but I am a little shy with new people, especially men....I just a little time to see if I can trust you.  After I know I can trust you, I will be the best lap dog ever.   I would love to meet you and your family, maybe you’ll be my forever home.  The nice people at Needy Paws said all you need to do is send in an Adoption Inquiry on www.NeedyPaws.org to meet me.  I'm not sure what that is but hurry up and do it because I want to meet my new family!

Veruca’s adoption fee is $195 .00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay  and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
