Hoagie is a 4-month-old male puppy with a black coat and adorable white markings and an even cuter personality to match. This mixed‑breed boy has a moderate‑to‑high energy level and is always ready for fun, learning, and cuddles.

Hoagie is already off to an amazing start with his training. He’s doing great with potty training, crate training, and even knows some basic commands like sit and down. He may bark a bit when first going into his crate, but he settles in nicely.  He is almost adjusted to sleeping through the night. When he does wake up, Hoagie proudly takes on his role as a very polite (and persistent) alarm clock, waking his humans with a soft whimper that turns into a “rise and shine!”

This sweet pup absolutely loves his people and wants to be wherever they are—following them around, greeting them with excitement, or curling up in their lap for some quality cuddle time. Belly rubs are his favorite, and he enjoys them so much that his little feet thump with happiness.

On a nice, sunny day, Hoagie enjoys being outside. He loves to find a good stick, play fetch, and sunbathe. He also loves to play with his toys, but the Kong toy is his favorite. Hoagie does well on a leash, is not afraid of the vacuum, does very well getting his nails trimmed, and even tolerates bath time. If he’s not on a leash, Hoagie will need a fenced yard (at least a 3‑foot fence) so he can safely explore and play.

Hoagie gets along well with other dogs and, while he hasn’t met kids yet, he’s a friendly, loving puppy who will likely do great with them.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
