This gorgeous girl with the beautiful eyes is Olive! She was rescued from Animal Control just a few days before she was scheduled to be euthanized. She's about a year and a half old, is crate trained and working on house training & doing well! She doesn't mind hanging out in her crate, sleeps in it at night and even takes naps in her Foster Family's dog's crate! She behaves nicely with dogs, is non-reactive to cats and gets along great with kids & adults! Olive is a friendly girl who wishes she could be loved on all day! She loves attention, especially being petted, and if you rub a certain spot under her collar, she tilts her head and is ecstatic! It's so funny and sweet to see! She would happiest in a home where she won't be left home a lot, where she'll receive a lot of the attention she craves and where she can be with her favorite people all the time. This sweet girl is smart, knows how to sit and comes when called. She's working on leash training as she pulls and she's learning to control her urges to jump on people when they're sitting so they can pet her. Olive enjoys going for car rides and behaves nicely in public. She attended an Adoption Event recently and had a great time meeting & greeting people and was a very good girl! Olive loves playing with her Foster Famly's dog, they run around the yard, go on walks together and have a blast wrestling with each other. She's learning how to play with toys and we hope one day she'll have a basket full of toys she loves! She's also shy with her treats, probably from not getting many in her lifetime. Sometimes she'll take them and just drop them, other times she'll hide them in her crate for later. Olive will be a wonderful pet for a family who will give her a lot of love & attention! She'll give back as much love as she gets and will bring a lot of happiness to your home for many years!
