Hi!!! My name is Polly.

So I guess you are here to read about me. I am sweet as sugar. Right now, I'm in a foster home with a 3ft fence and no other dogs. And I'm going to be honest. A 5ft fence would be nice because then I wouldn't have to be on a tie out.

I'm ok being an only dog but I really did enjoy having a brother at my temporary foster home. I had sisters too, but I would prefer to be the princess and not have to share that role. 

I really love sleeping on the couch and napping. If I'm not on the couch you can find me watching all the birds at the bird feeder. But I'm very quiet. So I'm definitely what they call a basenji mix. I'm learning how to be an inside girl. My first family left me alone in the middle of nowhere. So this is all new. But I've surprised everyone at how quickly I'm coming around.

I don't pull on a leash and potty training is going great. I sleep in a kennel at night and when these people go to work. I don't love it but I will do it with a little help.  Because she does cry in the kennel during the day, she would not be a good fit for an apartment.

Polly’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
