Etta is a sweet little miniature schnauzer. She is between 1 and 2 years old and is fully vetted.
She was rescued from a situation where she wasn't cared for in a way this sweet little girl should have been. Despite that, she is loving and is a sweetheart. She is crate trained. She does go in with the help of a little treat. She is also potty trained.
She's getting used to being inside a home. The first couple days she wasn't exactly sure what to do with couches and rooms that had carpet. She loves your attention and craves lots of pets. She's not really sure what to do with toys or bones yet, but we're trying to work on that. She likes to use her paw to tap you if you're not giving her the attention she wants. She has the sweetest disposition.
She does well in the car. She will walk on a leash but not for long periods of time. We are asking that Etta go to a home with a fenced yard for her own safety as she is still learning to walk on a leash. She loves to be outside and run around my backyard.
She loves to meet new people. She's been around adults and my 13-year-old granddaughter. She came to us with another dog, and they got along wonderfully but she is NOT adjusting to living with another dog so we think she would do best as an only dog. She doesn't really bark much at all. Only at the occasional squirrel.
She deserves a loving home and is looking for her forever family.
