Chardonnay is an extremely energetic puppy.  She is always on the go.  She loves playing with her siblings and all kinds of toys.  She loves to be held and snuggled and will roll over to get her belly rubs.

 

She loves the big dog in her foster home and it would be great if her forever home had another  dog to help with socialization and to help her use up her puppy energy.  If there is no other dog in the house, she will need a very active family. 

 

She is just beginning to work on potty training and she will need continued training in her new home.  She has been working on her "sit"  command.  She is very treat motivated and highly trainable.  

 

She currently sleeps all night in a puppy pen without making any noise during the night so her foster mom is hopeful that will carry over to her kennel training.

 

Families interested in adopting Chardonnay should research the exercise & mental stimulation needs of Heelers (aka Australian Cattle Dogs).

 

Chardonnay will be available for adoption January 5th after her spay, microchipping & 2nd round of puppy shots on January 3rd.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
