Hi - I'm Kosmo! 

I love meeting new people & going for walks. I am the perfect gentleman on a leash. I do not pull or react to other dogs. I do love meeting new dogs too! I am a very friendly guy who wants to be your constant companion. I am kenneled at night time but free roam during the day.  I don't chew on the house and am a good boy. I prefer if you don't work long hours too. [If this is possible/NOT a requirement].

I came from a home where I was mostly living outdoors in a pen with other dogs. But I much prefer it indoors! I do like to hang outside and enjoy a nice day OCCASIONALLY. 

I would do best in a home without tiny children.  I am being fostered with 4 very pesky children and the oldest is 6 years old. I like them a lot, I like to play with them, and I love it when their friends come to play. But sometimes I get jealous with how much attention "mom" gives them. When a foster mom notices these Ques we know not to send them with tiny ones. It's no aggressive behavior or issues, it's just a personal preference and important we place our dog's in the most suitable homes. He would do best with teen kids or no kids. Most Definitely can have visiting kids! Because he really does love them; just temporarily. 

He would also do best in a home that is active with their pets. He absolutely loves his nightly walks we give him and he is just the bestest boy. He likes bye-bye time!

He is a good sized large dog but he still thinks he's a lap dog. He will lay on you, roll over on you, hug you, he's a very loving & expressional dog. Don't forget the belly rubs! He sure loves a good belly rub.

He can live in a home with or without other pets. He's met *several* dogs big and small in the short time he has been here and has been great. [Friends dogs, on walk dogs, family members dogs, my dogs].  He does prefer his owners over other dogs so he doesn't *have* to live with other dogs by any means. He could easily be happy solo. He is great with cats too.  He's currently with 2 small dogs and a pitbull. All very elderly.  He does get to play with the neighbors 2 German shepherds and husky occasionally.  He would do best with a low/medium energy dog. He's great with our 3 elderly dogs and loves to play with the neighbors dogs.  But like the children,  he likes to send the excitement back home. ;)  Seriously he wants the spotlight in the home.

__Kosmo's___’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
