Hello there, my name is Mr. Snickerdoodle.

Don’t let my breed of “Chihuahua Mix” fool you, as I am a lover, not a fighter.  

I am 4 years old and about 12 lbs. but am working on gaining just a bit more weight so I can be my best.

I LOVE to snuggle with my people as well as my fellow doggy housemate, especially under the covers on a cold morning.  I also love playing with the other dogs, and do not mind the cats who live here either, but I do have a healthy respect for them and tend to just let them be or gently try to play.

I like going for walks and am very comfortable with both a collar and harness, but really, I just like walking beside my people.  I enjoy being in the car but may be just a bit hesitant getting in the car since it is still new to me.

I don’t really play with a ball much but have started playing with plushies and really enjoy my rawhide chews, especially the curled or braided ones.

Really, I am a sweetheart and a gentleman.  If there is another dog, I let them set the pace and I just go with the flow. But they should be careful, because if I get too close to their face, I may just have to lick their ears.  And that goes for you too!

I am not sure yet how I am around small children but do enjoy meeting new people and making friends as long as you let me do it at my pace.

I am potty trained, but still have accidents sometimes.  Just be patient with me and we will find our groove.

Snickerdoodle’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
