Carmine is a playful and happy pup. He’s very shy of people, but once he gets to know you, he will snuggle in your lap, but you have to let him come to you.

He gets along with all sizes of dogs and will need a home with another dog as a companion. The other dog will help him cope with his shyness of people.

Carmine is not potty trained, but he is trained to go on puppy pads and he has just started to go potty outside. We have been working on crate training him.

He sleeps in his crate at night and we take him out with the other dogs in the house with some success, especially first thing in the morning.

Carmine has he typical high energy of a puppy. He likes to play with balls and rope toys and likes to chew on synthetic bones. He likes to snuggle with his stuffed toys in his crate when he sleeps.

Carmine has a voice and knows how to use it. He barks when someone new comes to into the home or if the doorbell rings. He also barks when he wants your attention. Fenced yard preferred.

Our $250 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
