June is the definition of a needy paw. Although fully grown at 22lbs, she is still very puppy-like
in her sense of wonder and amazement. She prefers constant company, with a person or another
animal, 24/7. She loves to snuggle, does well on a leash and is super affectionate. She enjoys
being petted, touched and receiving belly rubs. She has moved around a lot so she has become a
bit cautious with new people and sometimes confuses a stranger with danger. She would do best
in a home with older kids or no kids as she can get excited around younger children. She will
need training but is food motivated and has already learned “come”, “sit” “stay” and NO. She
eats out of a slow feeder and has no “off” switch when it comes to food- this girl loves to eat!
She hates being crated and is not 100% potty trained. She is mostly calm when with a person but
can get very anxious if left alone. She has lived with other dogs and played with a cat in the past
but will need slow, proper introductions over time to new people and animals. She originally
came from a hoarding situation which has left some scars on her psyche. She does not like to go
outside alone, even to potty, she prefers if someone goes out with her. Since she is a Jack Russell
terrier, she can run and jump very fast and would do best in a fenced yard. If you would like to

June’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
