Turnip lived on a puppy mill as a breeder for most of her life, and came to Needy Paws shortly after being released. After a life of being put to work, Turnip is ready to spend the rest of her years in a loving home, just being a dog. 

 Though shy and scared at first, Turnip has quickly blossomed into a perfect house pet. She has gone from almost no potty training to being nearly housebroken in just over a week! She would easily transition to a home with a yard, but is also making progress with walking on a leash.

She is a sweet, goofy girl, who loves snuggling, being held like a baby, and hiding in strange spaces. She only barks minimally and is generally laid back. She gets along well with the other small dogs in her foster home, but would also enjoy having all the pets and attention to herself. 

 Turnip is easily startled, so she would probably not be happiest in a home with high energy children. However, she is becoming less skittish over time, so with the right children, she might be just fine.

Turnip ’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
