Well hello, my name is Sugar. I may be an old lady, but I have a lot of life left in me. I am about ten years old, and I LOVE snuggling on the couch, and in bed with my foster mom. 
I do admit, I will bark at loud noises, and when visitors come a knocking, also when my foster mom gets home because I am so excited to have her home to spend time with me.
I will also verbalize when I have to use the restroom, and when I am hungry. I go potty outside like I am supposed to; my foster mom says I am very well trained, whatever that means.
I really enjoy sleeping snuggled up on a pillow in my foster mom’s bed. My foster mom lets me sleep with her because I am so well behaved. 
I tolerate other dogs, but I am not really a fan of them. I do my best to stay away from them, and just relax. My foster mom thinks I don't really enjoy other dogs because I was an only dog all of my life, until coming to her house. I would prefer to live in a home with no other dogs, or a home where the other dogs don't bother me, maybe a kid or two. I have a human foster brother, and sometimes I watch tv and snuggle with him, he even lets me sleep with him when my foster mom isn’t home for bed time.
I really hope to find my forever home soon, so I can be settled for the holidays.

Sugar’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
