I'm Dexter, I'm a four month old Shepard mix. I came to my foster home just a few weeks ago, and I'm fitting into a home life very well. I went from living outside, to loving a nice comfortable home.  I have two fur foster siblings, whom I love to play and spend time with. I am very well behaved with other dogs. I have an eight year old human foster brother, I am well behaved with him as well. I have not been around cats yet, but I believe I would like them if I met one. I am extremely smart, so far I have learned sit, and go to my kennel on my own, and while in my kennel I have had zero accidents. When I first go into my kennel I whine a little bit, but I stop after a few minutes I get comfortable and stop. My foster mom is working diligently with me on potty training, when I have enough time outside I go outside. I'm a puppy so I get distracted outside, but eventually I make my way to going potty. I am very sweet, and playful, and love to be around my humans. As I am a puppy, I will need ongoing training. I have been to my first vet visit, and have one more coming up soon. I am available to come to my forever home after I am microchipped, and neutered, in just under two weeks.

Dexter ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
