|
Meatball is just a happy-go-lucky love bug that just wants to be with his friends (everyone). Meatball shows signs of having lived a rough life back in Houston before coming to St. Louis. His skin has signs of sitting on concrete for long periods of time, his teeth look filed down from possibly being kept on a chain and worst of all, his back legs don't appear fully developed due to being kept in a crate too small for him to stand all the way. But this boy's love for humans is unstoppable! He loves everyone he meets and he's even dog friendly! All he cares about is being with the people he loves. He's very clean and obedient. He's never had an accident in the house and never chews things he shouldn't. And man is he handsome! He turns heads everywhere we go. If there's anything negative I can say about this dog is the amount of licks I get from this boy can be annoying but, hey, we're not all perfect. But he's so close! He just has so much love to give. He's so happy about his new life and he wants YOU to be a part of it.
When he was surrendered his owners said he was heartworm positive but his heartworm test at the Texas shelter showed negative. He will be getting a 3rd test on 9/25 so we will know for sure his health status. It's likely he would benefit from a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement for the rest of his life. He's estimated to be about 4 years old.
