These adoring golden eyes belong to Emory a cautious but inquisitive dachshund /coonhound/? mix. She enjoys exploring her fenced yard, chasing bugs, chewing sticks, and wrestling with her brother, Brogan. It is such a delight to simply sit a watch her grow, learning to navigate her world; often times she will have her nose hard a work trying to identify a new discovered scent or track. It does not appear that neither she nor Brogan received much socialization as young puppies. Emory seems to lack confidence; she is shy, and reserved. However, as she continues to decompress and relaxes in our chaotic home she has begun to place herself in the mix of our lives, willing to travel along on adventures, or even cuddle up for a peaceful nap. I feel that her perfect placement will have a secure fenced yard, another young to mid aged dog, and will make it a priority to engage and include her in social activities, as well as, obedience training. Although, it will be an investment of time I guarantee it will offer beautiful rewards that will
last a lifetime.Emory
is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.
