This handsome fellow is Bolt, a 1.5 year old, border collie/ lab mix. While shy at first, he warms up quickly and will whine for belly rubs before too long. When he turns those soulful eyes on you - watch out – he doesn’t want you to stop petting his soft puppy-like fur! Bolt loves spending time with his people and is a class A snuggler! He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained, and knows his commands like sit, stay, and paw. He is a very smart boy and learns new commands quickly. Since Bolt is a young adult, he does need exercise. He enjoys walking with his people around the neighborhood, hiking with the squirrels and bunny rabbits, and running by his human’s side. Bolt does great with other dogs, but hasn’t been cat tested yet. If you have cat, we’d be happy to test that for you. He would do best in a home with older children since border collies are herders. Bolt is looking for his forever home with a warm, loving family that will shower him with affection and make him an integral part of their lives!

Bolt’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative,neuter  and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
