This handsome boy is Kirk, a 1 year old Dachshund mix, weighing about 20 lbs. Kirk is a major cuddle bug and lap dog, he loves lots of attention.  He is an awesome little dog that gets along great with people, kids, ignores cats and gets along with dogs.  He is a bit food aggressive but that can be corrected with training.  He does need a slow introduction so he can used to his surroundings but after that he does great.  Kirk loves running around in the yard but will need a yard with at least a 4 ft fence.  Kirk is house trained and is working on crate training.

Kirk’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter  and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
