About Rocky the Giant | |

Meet Rocky the Giant, a 19 month old Great Dane looking for his forever home. Rocky is the epitome of a gentle giant. This sweet and loyal love bug just wants to be near his humans, he will bond with you very quickly. Rocky requires a 6 foot fence and would do best with another large/giant breed dog in the home. Ideally, his forever home will have experience with Great Danes. He is very smart and wants to please his humans and is learning good manners in his foster home; however, his forever family is encouraged to enroll him in a basic obedience class. Rocky is good with cats, other dogs and considerate children. However, due to his size, his ideal family will have older children. He is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash.

Adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
Rocky’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
