Meet Tara, a 1-2 year old Pitbull Terrier mix. She is a smaller girl weighing in at only 45lbs. Tara was rescued from a hoarding situation, but is now a happy girl in her foster home. She is shy with new people at first, but once she warms up to you she is all kisses and cuddles. Tara is house and crate trained. She is great with other dogs and does ok with cats, but has not yet been tested around kids. Tara's ideal home would be one that is willing to take things a little slower with her and allow her to warm up to the new environment and people. She would probably do good with another dog in the home to help her feel a little more secure.

Tara’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay, and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
