This handsome, scruffy guy with one blue eye is Jude, a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix. Though a little bit shy at first, he very quickly comes out of his shell to show you his joyful, outgoing personality.  Jude loves being with his people.  He stays close, ready for a walk or to play or to just hang out, content with chewing on an antler.  He adores belly rubs and washing people’s faces with his tongue as he shows his affection with kisses.  He would be a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates Jude’s enthusiasm. 

Jude gets along well with other dogs.  He enjoys playing, running, wrestling or just hanging out with his dog buddies.  Not sure how he is with cats, so he would have to be cat tested if needed.  He loves to carry his favorite toys from place to place, keeping them near his side.  He is very attentive and eager to please and is beginning to learn obedience commands.  He stays in a crate while at home alone and is almost completely house-trained.

When he is not busy playing and loving life, Jude likes to find a spot next to his people, drift asleep and dream of adventures to come.   Of course, he also dreams of a forever home where he will be a loved member of the family.  In turn, Jude will devote his companionship and bring lots of laughter.

Jude’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter  and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
