My name is Luna Michonne and I'm a 2 year old, medium size, Shih Tzu Mix weighing about 25 lbs. Not sure of the mix but I sort of look like a Lhasa Apso mix too because of my size.
I was found pregnant, living under a house. My puppies have all been adopted, but I am still waiting for my forever family. I am very shy and timid whenever I am inside my foster house and usually spend a lot of my time under the sofa or under the bed which is my safe place. My foster mom has been working with me to practice sitting with them in the living room. At night, I usually sleep under my mom's bed, but then sometimes during the night, I jump up on bed to give her lots of hugs and kisses!
When you let me outside, I am totally different. I love running in the yard so I must have a fenced yard to play in. I also enjoy having furry friends to do "zoomies" with in the yard so another fur buddy would be nice. I feel so free running in the grass and racing thru the leaves.
Loud noises still scare me so be patient with me. When I'm scared, I go to my safe place in the house. My mom is also practicing leash walking with me but that is really scary so that will take some time to get used to. She has been slowly helping me understand the world around me.
I need to have a family that has a lot of patience and won't push me too fast. If I won't come out from under the sofa, please let me stay there until I come out on my own terms. It's a scary world for me but I promise you that I am so cute and loving that you can't but fall in love with me. You have to know that I want to be a normal, fun-loving dog and I will be, but it just takes time.

Michonne’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay, and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
