This soft and cuddly bear cub look alike is Baloo, he has the softest fur and is oh so fluffy.  Baloo is a 3 year old Chow mix. He is very sweet and desperately wants to be loved.  Baloo is scared of many common household things (since he never lived in a home), like doors and other things that move.  Because of his skittish tendencies, he is a flight risk and must be leashed and monitored at all times when outside.  He will need a patient adopter and one who has other dogs, as Baloo is used to being part of a pack.  Since he is still adjusting, Baloo has not yet been introduced to kids or cats.  A future adopter will need to introduce all things slowly and not be rushed to integrate him into their home and lifestyle.

Baloo’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter  and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
