Meet Dorsey, a 9 month old Dachshund mix. Dorsey and his brother Gavin had been at animal control since September so both of them are getting used to being around people again.  They are a little shy but will warm up to you within a few minutes of sitting next to them.  Dorsey is good with other dogs but hasn't been cat tested yet.  He may also do better in a home with older kids.  He walks fine on a leash and rides nicely in the car.  He likes to rollover for belly rubs too. Dorsey is crate trained and seems to be housebroke.

Dorsey’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
