Meet Dexter, a 9 month old Lab/Pit Bull mix.  Dexter is such a delight, he is super sweet and very funny.  He loves playing with the cats in his foster home and shares his toys with them.  He still has those adorable puppy mannerisms, like chasing leaves and shaking his bootie when he wants to play.  He is extremely gentle when taking treats from your hand.  Dexter loves his crate.  He settles in very quickly and sleeps through the night with no barking or crying.  He is doing great at house training too.

Dexter’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
