This sweet girl is Mellie, a 4-5 month old Pit Bull Terrier mix.  Mellie is a little shy at first but it doesn't take her long to warm up to someone new.  She enjoys carrying her toys into her dog bed and wrestling with her foster brothers, who are four times her size. Mellie is great with other dogs and is crate trained. She is still working on house training but she's almost there.  She will make a great companion and is looking forward to her forever home.

Mellie’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
