Meet Summer Marie, a 7 year old Lab mix.  Summer Marie came to us as a stray after giving birth to nine puppies. She is housebroken, a gentle walker on a leash, a good car traveler and very quiet.   She was frightened of many things at first, but is learning to trust that humans can be loving to her. She trusts females but is still unsure of males.  Her foster family have been working with her to overcome her fear of men. Her favorite thing is to sit and be petted.   Her adoptive family will need patience with her fears until she overcomes them with your loving care. She will give you so much love in return.  Summer would do best in a home with another dog that is social.

Summer Marie’s adoption fee is $175.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
