This handsome and charming young lad is Prince, a 3 year old Japanese Chin. Prince is a fun little dog with lots of energy. His favorite thing to do is be groomed, have his picture taken and lay in the window sunbathing or surveying his kingdom from up high, see he really thinks he is royalty.  Prince needs someone with lots of time for him because he is sad right now. His previous owner was very sick and Prince sat near his side every day until his human had to go away so he is really missing him  He does have lots and lots of love to give still and that love might be for you! If you would like a loyal and royal companion to sit at your side, then Prince is the dog for you.

Prince likes other dogs and loves long walks. He would do well in a home with older children who can give him his space. He probably likes cats but has not been tested.  Prince is house and crate trained.

Prince’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
