Puma is a sweet 7 year old basset/beagle mix.  She was living in an abusive home where the children and the adults did not treat her well.  She's as sweet as they come but definitely does not need to be in a home with small children, only teenagers and older. Puma will need to be in a patient forever home with a family who will give her a lot of love and time for her to warm up to them and feel safe. She's good with other dogs but does seem to be more alpha, so probably a home with a more submissive dog would be best. She's house and crate trained. She's a very sweet and laid back girl who needs to find her forever home to live out the rest of her life loved and in a peaceful place.

Puma’s adoption fee is $175 .00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay  and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
