This gorgeous guy with the happy smile is Brody! He's 1 year old, house trained & crate trained, he gets along nicely with dogs, kids & laid-back cats. He's lived in a home with guinea pigs & liked to watch them in their cage but was always good with them, even when they were squealing & running around their cage. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, Brody is your guy! He loves snuggling on the couch, laying across laps & being close to his people. His favorite place to nap is on someone's lap, on his back, with his back legs in the air! You can't help but laugh at this goofy love bug! He's very friendly, loves meeting people and gives the sweetest pittie kisses! Brody is a smart guy & a quick learner. He knows sit, stay, down, speak & paw. He knows crate means to go into his crate, where he'll get a treat and some toys to play with. He sits when it's time to put on his leash & he's been taught to stay out of the kitchen when people are eating. He would benefit from some more training by a strong, confident person since he's such a young guy. This happy pup is very playful and his favorite toy is a rope toy. He loves playing tug-of-war with it & even entertains himself by tossing the rope in the air & catching it! He likes chewing rawhides and is a silly boy who hides them around the house to find & chew on later! Besides being handsome & having a smile that is totally contagious, Brody has a lot of puppy energy left and is a powerful dog. It is important for his health & happiness to have a place to run to wear off some of his energy. He'd do best in a home with a big backyard but we'd consider an active Forever Family that is dedicated to walking or running him daily. Brody doesn't realize how strong he is and we feel he'd do best at a home without small children, in case he accidentally knocks one over in his enthusiasm when they're playing. This sweet boy loves going for walks and tugs on his leash at first but calms down after a few minute and walks very well. He has a blast going for car rides and when he sees an open car door, he thinks it's time for a ride! He enjoys going places, especially the pet store, and he's a good boy but can get overly excited because he just wants to meet everybody and be their friend!
