If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you gave a loaf of sourdough legs and a personality… meet Steve. This 10-month-old basset mix is a wiggly, goofy, slightly chaotic potato with a heart of pure gold.

Steve doesn’t walk into a room — he wiggles into it. His whole body says hello before he does. He’s fantastic with dogs of all sizes and loves kids too, making him the ultimate family sidekick.

He’s crate trained, potty trained, and currently leveling up his leash skills like the smart little carb king he is. 

Steve’s dream home? Endless cuddles. Generous snack distribution. A dog sibling to zoom around with. And humans who appreciate a low-rider with maximum personality.

If you’re ready for daily laughs, full-body wiggles, and a best friend who thinks you hung the moon (and possibly dropped a snack), Sourdough Steve is ready to rise to the occasion.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
