About Lady Whistledown | |

Dearest Gentle Reader,
It is with great delight (and a wagging tail) that I, Lady Whistledown, present myself for your consideration. At just about two years of age, I am a black Labradoodle of refined tastes, affectionate nature, and extremely long legs. If you would enjoy having a dog follow you from room to room in a manner that resembles a small uncoordinated horse, we should meet. I am actually a lower energy lady; I do love my naps!
My past, while not without its sadness, has only deepened my appreciation for companionship. I came into rescue after my former owner passed away, leaving me and my housemates without care for far too long. Fear not—I have emerged from this chapter resilient, loving, and ever so ready for a happily-ever-after.
Allow me to share my credentials. I am fully housebroken, quite proper with children, and delightfully social with other dogs. In fact, I would greatly enjoy a canine companion with whom I might engage in spirited games of ball and polite romps in the yard. Cats, however, are not my preferred society.
I am a low-shedding lady, though I do require occasional grooming to maintain my elegant appearance. I have begun basic obedience commands and am crate trained, though I confess I much prefer sleeping near my people. I do not care for being alone and sleep best in a room with someone nearby—whether that be in a crate, a dog bed, or, if you are feeling generous, your own bed.
My favorite pastimes include ear rubs, snack time, and any activity that involves quality time with those I adore. I am affectionate, loyal, and eager to devote myself fully to a family who values companionship as much as I do.
