Hi! My name is Karis. I was born on 10/13/25, which makes me about 17 weeks old. I came into rescue with nine of my brothers and sisters. We’re believed to be Beagle/Hound mixes, and based on the way we all love to howl, my foster mom thinks that’s probably spot on.

I’ve learned to use potty pads and I’m working on going potty outside too. I’ll need continued training in my new home. I am working on my sit & off commands and foster mom tells me I'm doing a good job.

Right now, I sleep on a dog bed in the kitchen and I’m usually quiet through the night. Every now and then I hear something interesting and let my foster mom know I’m on guard duty, but I fall back asleep quickly. I’m also learning to stay in a kennel when my foster mom is away.

I currently weigh about 20 pounds and will likely grow into a medium-sized dog. I love getting attention and will make sure my foster mom knows when I want pets. I can be a little nervous about being picked up, but I really do enjoy affection.

I’ve had all my vaccinations and I’m ready to find my forever family.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
