Meet Ethel a 57 pound bundle of love ! Ethel was brought into rescue after sustaining injuries, likely from being struck by a car. Most of her wounds had healed before her arrival, although some scars remain and she walks with a minor limp and a cute little sidestep. However, this does not affect her mobility. 

Ethel does well with other dogs and loves all people. She can be a bit rowdy, so probably best in a home with older children so she doesn’t knock the little ones down.  Ethel is housetrained and crate trained.

She’s a strong girl and tends to pull on the leash especially when setting out for her walk and slows down a bit once she’s had time to release some of her energy, she loves her daily walks.  Ethel is also great in the car and is ready to go for a car ride anytime. She loves her toys and happily entertains herself.  This girl also loves water and will wade in the creek if you give her the chance.

Ethel has recently graduated from the 12 week Puppies 4 Parole Training offered through the Mo Department of corrections.  While in training she learned basic commands.  Ethel responds very well to commands with a treat as a reward.

Ethel’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
