Meet Riggs, a 12-week-old Shih Tzu Poodle mix—at least, that's what we've been told, but we honestly do not know his full breed.   At 12 weeks he’s around 10 pounds so he could be a medium size dog when fully grown.

He’s a handsome little guy with a full coat of wild, long, very soft, fluffy hair.  This hair type requires regular grooming to maintain its appearance.

Riggs is a happy little guy and full of life.  He loves playing with his brother and the 2 of them love their toys.  After a long day of play he sleeps peacefully in his puppy pen at night.

He is a puppy and along with that comes potty training and all the other fun puppy antics.  He has plenty of chew toys, so he doesn’t chew on inappropriate items, though he’s still a puppy. He’s happy just being around people and his toys.

If you’d like to make this guy part of your family, fill out an application today.

Riggs will be available for adoption around September 26th.

If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
