Meet Karen 

This little lady is a 7-year-old, 22-pound hound mix with the sweetest heart. After spending her whole life in a hoarding situation, Karen is finally getting her chance to shine—and she’s ready to trade her past for a happily-ever-after! 

Karen is a total lovebug who adores people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’s dog-friendly, potty trained, and incredibly affectionate—the kind of pup who will melt into your arms and follow you from room to room. Because she bonds so deeply, she’d thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to shower her with love. 

Since she’s never had the chance to learn about leashes yet, Karen will need a fenced yard where she can safely explore.  Karen can climb a chain link fence so she would need a vinyl, wood or an ornamental metal fence with vertical posts.

She’s been through so much, but this girl is pure resilience wrapped in soft fur—and she’s ready to live like the princess she was always meant to be.

Karen’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
