Ellie is a sweet, good-natured girl! She is:
potty-trained (and very good at signaling when she needs to go out!)
crate-trained (goes in willingly, happy to stay there overnight or while her humans are away) a dream to walk on a leash (loose leashes galore!) not very vocal, rarely barks or whines dog friendly!

Ellie likes to spend her days being her humans' shadow, following them from room to room and laying near them while they work or watch TV.  She enjoys her time outdoors on walks but is also happy to stay inside and chew her favorite bone. She also LOVES to shred paper and cardboard! She is also a big fan of treats and her food motivation means that she is easily trainable. She is a go-with-the-flow kind of girl.

We haven't introduced her to children, but given her gentle personality we think she would do just fine with them. She may be okay with cats; she does notice critters on walks but is learning to check in with her humans instead of engaging with them. She would be a great fit for many different types of families!

Ellie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and her activity levels needs to stay low until her treatment is complete. Needy Paws will take care of her second and final injection, and is happy to coordinate this with her forever family. Adopt this sweet girl today!

Ellie’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
