About Nina Dulce | |

|
What a great, sweet dog. Nina Dulce, an approximately 1-year-old chocolate brown lab/terrier mix, is adjusting well to home life after a 3-month stint in the Puppies for Parole training program through the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Nina, who weighs estimated 45 to 50 pounds is crate trained, house broken, leash trained and knows a myriad of commands. She enjoys exploring her foster home and backyard with all its new sights, sounds and smells, playing with balls, chew toys and walks while also practicing the many commands she learned. Nina would do best with a fenced yard to burn off some of her puppy energy.
She likes other dogs and people but don't know about cats and children, but she did do well during a recent visit with grandchildren. Nina was found along with a sister and her mom when she was about 3 months old. Nina will be a great, affectionate family dog and companion.
Nina has recently graduated from the 12 Week Puppies for Parole training program offered through the Mo Department of Corrections. While in training she was taught basic obedience and socialization skills. She has learned various commands such as sit, stay, paw, heel, etc … and has acquired her good canine citizen honor.
