Meet Jackalope (aka Jack)! 

Jack is a 9-month-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a small body. This spunky little guy is full of energy and loves to play, especially with other dogs who enjoy a good game of roughhousing. He’s a huge fan of toys and will happily keep himself entertained — or invite you to join the fun!  Jack however is not fond of cats.

Jack is very food-motivated and already knows a few commands, which makes training both fun and effective. He’s mostly housebroken and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. 

He doesn't care for strangers and will let them know it, but all it takes is a few treats to win him over.  Jack also makes a great little watchdog — he’s alert and not shy about using his voice to let you know when someone’s around. (So if you're looking for a quiet pup, he may not be your guy.)

Once he’s comfortable, Jack is a total cuddlebug who loves nothing more than curling up with his favorite person. We’re not sure how he does with cats, but he’d likely do best in a home with older kids.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
