Suny Dee is currently enrolled in the 12 week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections.  She will graduate around October 20th and will be available for adoption at that time.  If you are interested in adopting Suny Dee, please complete an application and the foster parent will contact you.

Suny was an owner surrender down in Thayer Missouri and her owner couldn't afford them and subsequently surrendered them to an animal control where they didn't have much time. 

Suny Dee has come a long way since coming into rescue! She's still a bit nervous about the world but she has gained some confidence. 

She loves going for walks and is great on a leash! She'll turn when I turn and stop when I stop! 
 
She'll entertain herself for a while with a chew toy or squeaky toy! When she's not doing either of those things she's laying on my feet whether I'm sitting in my chair or making food in the kitchen. 
 
She's about 11 months old and good with other dogs as long as they aren't too pushy. She gets a bit nervous around dogs that are too much. I'm not sure about cats but I can get a test done. She loves all people and oh boy is she a lover!
 
We're still working on refining those potty skills. She's crate trained and goes right in with a treat! 
 
Suny is super duper sweet but as of now will definitely need a patient family. She has absolutely no food aggression towards people or other dogs which is a huge plus! 
You really Have to meet this girl in person to see how sweet she is so I urge you to fill out an application to give her a chance! It's Suny's goal to find her family by the time she turns one year old so she can celebrate her birthday with a party!

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
