Snuggerud, affectionately known as Snuggie, is a resilient and loving pup who’s come a long way from a heartbreaking beginning. Around 3 years old, he was rescued from a neglectful situation—severely underweight and at risk of euthanasia. But Snuggie never gave up, and neither did we. Now, this brave boy is ready to find his forever home!

Since his rescue, Snuggie has made amazing progress. He’s started to fill out (we think he may have even grown a bit!), and he’s learning the joys of regular meals and a stable routine. He’s very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze — he’s already working on commands like “sit” and “wait” for his food. Potty training is still in progress, but he's getting there with patience and consistency.

Snuggie is incredibly smart, full of love, and lives up to his nickname — he’s a total cuddle bug! He’s also a playful goofball who will keep you smiling with his silly antics and big heart. While he’s still learning to fully trust that food and love will always be there, he’s blossoming into a happy, loyal companion.

Snuggie would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play freely.

Snuggerud’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
