Harley (Hermes)
Basenji mix, with the coloring of a basenji but face of a hound or other breed.
He does bark some at dogs and people walking outside of the fence.
He is 6 or 7 years old and about 65lbs.
He has long legs and long slim body.
Harley has medium energy, loves to go on walks, explore the yard and also be by your side in the house.
He knows basic commands and is working on leash training. Seems to know heel when reminded.
He is crate trained and housebroken.
Does great with low energy, medium-sized to large dogs and he is great with kids.
Not sure how he would do with cats but seems to have a high prey drive in the yard so would recommend a home with no cats or other small pets.
He is very well behaved in the house and rides quietly in the car.
He’s timid at first to people and loud sounds but warms up fast.
Would prefer him to go to a home with a fenced yard.
He can sit up on his hind legs and he gives hugs.
Overall, he is a sweetheart and he can’t wait to be your loyal companion.
