This beautiful lady who looks like a fox and is as smart as one too is Feyre. She came to rescue as one of 19 dogs who were dumped on a country road in rural MO. She was skin and bones when Needy Paws got her, and has been putting on weight with the proper diet and some treats. She is very sweet and cuddly with her favorite people once you win her over. She is shy at meeting new people, but with a few treats and pets, will quickly be your new friend. She prefers the company of adults, so a quiet home without small children there often would be ideal. Kids can be noisy and unpredictable and just aren’t her thing. She isn’t a fan of loud noises.
Feyre loves to run and do zoomies in the yard with a dog friend, so the ideal home will have at least 1 other dog she can follow and learn from. And speaking of learning, this girl is smart! She learned sit and stay, where to sit for treats, is learning to use potty bells to go outside, and puts herself in her crate when she knows it’s time. She is also quite fast and agile, and would probably love to do obedience or agility for fun. She likely has some herding breed in her, so she will chase outdoor critters like bunnies and birds, and might try to herd other dogs just a bit. She would do best in a home with a secure fence so she can run and sniff without being held back by a leash. She is a pretty nice leash walker, she just prefers the quieter scene.
Feyre is mostly potty trained, just having the occasional accident(she is still technically a puppy). And she now happily goes in her crate to get a treat at night time. She has started playing with all sorts of toys now, and sometimes plays fetch with a ball. But napping on the couch with her people is still her favorite thing.

Feyre’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
