Terrier/Dach Mix Breed 2 yrs old & 13 lbs. Long body, wire hair around face and soft hair on body, haven’t noticed any shedding. Loves playing with small dogs; not tested with cats.  Medium energy but needs a fenced yard to safely run in. House trained with no accidents at all, crate trained but needs further work in this area as he is possessive of the crate, knows exactly how to use your bed pillows if allowed.

Great little car rider and could be a travel buddy. Very guarded with strangers understandably so, will bark at them if they encroach to closely and if they approach he may growl as a warning, just needs proper introduction in the yard or in an open area like a yard. Only barks at people that are strange or out of place, ie. strangers walking by or a school bus unloading.

Needs at least a 4 ft fence to run (zoomies are fun) and to keep him safe from other animals that may take advantage of a small dog. Knows the word ‘sit’ and will let you hold him like a baby with his belly exposed and if you rub the belly you will soon put him to sleep, 5 minutes tops. Has an adorable soft snore. Adorable !!

Leebo’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
