Meet TJ Tucker, this boy is a very handsome Australian Shepherd and weighs 42 lbs. He just turned 6 yrs old and was living on a chain his whole life. They say dogs live in the now and don't dwell on the past and he is proof. He is so sweet and loves the attention he is getting now. 

He responds to Tucker and comes when you say his name. He know sit and stay.  He likes to bolt out when the door is open so we started making him sit and stay until he was released - we also did this when getting out of the car and going for walks.  And he listens really well. 

*He loves running in the yard, especially with other dogs or with his people.

*He loves car rides and going for walks.  He loves being with his people

*He loves snuggling on the couch and sleeping in bed with us and loves belly rubs.  

*He is housetrained but did start marking when my older dog/breeder fosters had accidents in the kitchen - so we started using a belly band just for a bit. 

*He is very eager to please his people and loves attention.

*He lived with 5 cats and was fine around them.

*He was fine with most dogs, especially the laid back submissive ones.

TJ Tucker’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
