He is a playful 1 year old, 80 lb, Redbone Coonhound and is the epitome of the breed!
He's sweet but not clingy. He's playful but not hyper.
What does that mean? His ideal home would be a place where he could run and play, preferably a farm like setting but a large, fenced yard with a fur sibling will also work.
He adores children and other dogs and would do best with a playmate. He never meets a stranger and is the friiendliest fellow around!
Walks well on a leash and of course this gentleman is house trained.
No kennel needed either! He knows his manners and never bothers a thing when left alone.
He
is a
hunting breed so no cats or small animals.
He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative as well.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Mavvy Maverick’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
