Amelia Earhart is a loving 1-year-old pup.  While we believe she is mixed with Great Pyrenees, she is only 35 pounds. She’s the perfect medium size dog! 

Amelia is a bundle of joy and silliness, always ready to play with toys and other dogs. She adores going for walks and exploring the world around her. She's fully potty trained, making her an easy addition to any home.

One of Amelia's greatest joys is snuggling with humans; she loves nothing more than curling up in a lap and feeling safe and loved. She's hoping to find a home who wants to snuggle too. Amelia would thrive in a household with another dog companion who shares her love for playtime and adventure.

She's shown incredible resilience and love. Before moving into a Needy Paws foster home, Amelia spent her first year in a shelter setting so she was limited in her experiences. As a result, men are still a bit scary and she could use some patience and understanding in that regard.

Despite her young age, she just finished weaning her 8 beautiful babies and was a wonderful mother. But she is finished with motherhood and ready for a life of her own.

Amelia Earhart’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
