FENCED YARD ( no electric fences ) and COMPANION DOG REQUIRED

Meet Chevy, a one year old Havanese/Bichon mix.  Chevy is a slender guy and weighs about 12 pounds.  He was surrendered to us by a breeder along with a few other dogs. 

Chevy is a happy go lucky dog who gets along great with his similar sized foster siblings and he also does very well with the resident cats.  He would need to have a fenced yard and another doggy friend to play with .  He is not leash trained at this time.  Chevy loves toys and will drag them all out and bring them to the couch to play with one by one ! He also loves running zoomies in the backyard with his foster siblings.

Since he was pulled from a breeder facility, he can be somewhat timid at first but he will warm up quickly.  Chevy will need an adopter who is willing to work with him to continue to gain confidence and he will reward you with sweet doggy love in return.

We are currently working on crate training him and hopefully over time he will be more comfortable if he needs to be crated.  Currently he just stays gated in the kitchen at night with the other dogs or when the foster is out of the house.  He is mostly potty trained but will need to be kept on a regular schedule. Chevy will also require regular grooming.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
